A delegation of Uzbekistan is on a visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A delegation of Uzbekistan is paying a visit to Bashkortostan.

The delegation includes senior officials of the Information and Computing Center, the Treasury Department, the Department of Financial Regulation of Territorial Programs of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Main Financial Department and the Health Department of the Namangan Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to further discuss and study the Russian experience in introducing treasury support of targeted budget funds allocated for capital investments (maintaining separate accounting of the results of financial and economic activities and disclosing the price structure of a state contract or an agreement on capital investments and issues of information support for treasury support).

During the meeting with representatives of the Federal Treasury, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the financial authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lira Igtisamova, in her speech noted:

“I am pleased to welcome you on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan at a meeting of financial bodies. This meeting is part of a joint effort to develop cooperation between the Federal Treasury and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I’m sure that the fruitful joint work here in Ufa will create an additional incentive for the development of relations between our countries and the strengthening of relations between the treasury systems of Russia and Uzbekistan. ”

Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lira Igtisamova also acquainted her colleagues with the mechanisms and tools for managing public finances of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The meeting participants also discussed issues of cash services for budget execution, health and information technology development, and improvement of control activities.
